The Dawn of a New Year

And here we are again, at the cusp of a new year. First and foremost, I want to thank you with all my heart for sharing your yoga practice with me throughout 2025. It is an honor that I never take for granted.

I look forward to welcoming 2026 and discover what it has in store for all of us. The world as a whole is in a state of flux at the moment. It is in times like this that we seek steady ground. Let that ground be the solid rock of what you truly believe in—live by it, and act from it. This period offers us an opportunity to be more thoughtful in our actions which requires deep contemplation: holding on to what truly needs to be held, and letting go of whatever has become dead weight.

We are ending the year with a focus on prāṇa, the life force, as a layer of consciousness that contributes to and shapes our sense of self. As we move into the new year, the layers we explore will become deeper and more subtle. This feels especially fitting,  as winter is a time that naturally supports introspection and inner work.

I wish you a transformative and joyous
New Year 2026.

A year filled with abundance and love.

I often end my messages to you with the words "breathe easy". This is not merely a gentle closing, but a reminder to experience one of the essential qualities that easeful breathing cultivates, TRUST.

Trust in your life's journey,
and your active participation in it.

As always,

Breathe easy.

Blessings

Jorge Nihāl
